Jalosydän Cowl

The idea for the Jalosydän series started with a dress. I wanted to design a slightly different yoke dress where the pattern focuses on the waist rather than the yoke. At the time of publishing the sock pattern, the dress is still in test knitting, but the pattern will be available in early March 2025. Previously, I released the Jalosydän sock pattern, and now it’s time for the cowl.The cowl is knitted using Drops Nepal yarn or another yarn of similar weight. The gauge is 17 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm, which I achieved with 5 mm needles.

One size
Width over the shoulders from the collar: 15 cm
Height in the front from the collar: approx. 32 cm
Height in the back from the collar: approx. 19 cm

Yarn requirements:
Drops Nepal, 50 g skein:
A 8912 Blush – 1 skein
B 8903 Black – 1 skein
C 0100 Natural White – 1 skein
D 3112 Rose – 1 skein

Materials:
Circular needles size 5 mm (40 cm, 60 cm, and 80 cm)
Double-pointed needles size 6 mm

Gauge
10 cm x 10 cm = 17 sts x 22 rows

Jalosydän -kauluri

Idea Jalosydän sarjaan lähti mekosta. Halusin suunnitella hiukan erilaisen kaarrokemekon, jossa kuvio-osuus keskittyy vyötärölle kaarrokkeen sijaan. Mekko on sukkien ohjeen julkaisun aikaan vielä testineulonnassa, mutta ohje siihen tulee maaliskuun 2025 alussa. Aiemmin julkaisin ohjeen Jalosydän villasukkiin ja nyt on kaulurin vuoro. Kauluri neulotaan Dropsin Nepal langasta tai muusta vastaavan vahvuisesta langasta. Neuletiheys on 17 s x 22 krs = 10 x 10 cm. Minulla siihen päästiin puikoilla nro 5.
