Jalosydän Socks

The idea for the Jalosydän series started with a dress. I wanted to design a slightly different yoke dress where the pattern focuses on the waist instead of the yoke. At the time of publishing this sock pattern, the dress is still in test knitting, but the pattern will be available in early March 2025. Once the dress was finished, I received many requests for a sock pattern to match the Jalosydän series. Your wish has come true—this sock pattern has now been test knitted and published. The pattern includes two calf size options.

Sizes:
36–43
Calf circumference at the widest point of the colorwork:
Narrower calf version: 31 cm
Wider calf version: 36 cm
Leg height: 27 cm

Yarn requirements:
A 084 Heather (Kotini Wool Blend) – 90 g, 100 g
B 0099 Black (Novita 7 Veljestä) – 70 g, 80 g
C 010 Natural White (Novita 7 Veljestä) – 30 g, 30 g
D 053 Berry (Novita 7 Veljestä) – 80 g, 80 g

Materials:
Double-pointed needles size 3.5 mm
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
10 cm x 10 cm = 18 stitches and 26 rows of stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles

Jalosydän -sukat

Idea Jalosydän sarjaan lähti mekosta. Halusin suunnitella hiukan erilaisen kaarrokemekon, jossa kuvio-osuus keskittyy vyötärölle kaarrokkeen sijaan. Mekko on sukkien ohjeen julkaisun aikaan vielä testineulonnassa, mutta ohje siihen tulee maaliskuun 2025 alussa. Kun mekko oli valmis, sain monia pyyntöjä sukkaohjeelle tähän Jalosydän sarjaan. Ja toiveenne toteutui ja sukkaohje on nyt testineulottu ja julkaistu. Ohjeessa on kaksi pohkeen kokoa.
