“Jamaican Wedding” Shawl
This design has been created as part of a Knit Along in conjunction with Honey Girl Farms with an Outlander theme.

The shawl was designed around the wedding in Jamaica, it is light and pretty for the bride to have worn, if you know that part of the story, then I imagined it may have been something that was loaned to her from the priests house.

It’s a triangular top down pattern, incorporating lace sections into a vertical lined pattern.

I have created it in 4ply/fingering weight yarn and drapes beautifully when using a yarn with a touch of luxury and having a silk content.
