James Morris
This scarf was designed for James Morris, my son’s soccer coach, as a Christmas gift. This bearded man with calm eyes has a British accent just like any soccer trainer in the U.S.
Although I love to add an asymmetrical touch to my designs, I decided against that idea when thinking of this man. It is a simple garter stitch scarf in 3 colors with a symmetrical design and somewhat irregular stripes. I carefully laid out the 3 colors of blocks and stripes in various widths for a sophisticated finish.
This scarf can be knit with any weight of yarn. The samples were knit with worsted and fingering weight.
