Jamis was an excellent Fremen fighter, but his fatal flaw was that he was drawn to violence. A pair of shorties seemed fitting to resemble his short life span as a Dune character. The pattern works both as a nod to the form fitting stillsuit he wore and depicts the crysknife in his famous quote at the beginning of the fight with Paul “May thy knife chip and shatter (Dune movie 2021) as the pattern resembles a shattering crysknife. Pattern is worked top down with heel flap, ribbing at center of foot for a better fit and option for toe socks or a rounded toe.
