Currently exclusive to Jimmy Beans Wool comes the Jammy Dodger Cowl, which is available in two scrumptious colorways based on tasty treats like raspberries and poached pears! Designed by Miriam Felton and using Earl Grey Fiber Co. Darjeeling Sock, we can almost taste just how yummy this project is going to be!

Each kit comes packaged up in a white bakery box and provides a heaping serving of the yarn you need in each colorway. Of course, we can’t forget the array of the cutlery (stitch markers) you’ll need to dig right in!

This cowl is knit in the round in one piece using two-color brioche rib stitch. Only one color is used per round.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn in the following quantities - MC: 300 yards; CC1: 50 yards CC2: 280 yards. Sample in Earl Grey Fiber Company Darjeeling Sock (75% Superwash Merino Wool/25% Nylon, 463 yds/100 gms) in ‘Victoria Sponge’ (MC), ‘The Last Raspberry‘ (CC1), & ‘Bread Week’ (CC2).

Gauge: 18 sts & 26 rounds (52 half-rounds) = 4 inches (10cm) square in Brioche Rib with smaller needle after blocking and unstretched.

Notions: 3 stitch markers (1 different for marking the beginning of round), tapestry needle to weave in ends, supplies for blocking.

Needles: 3.75mm (US 5) & 3.25mm (US 3) 24 inch (60cm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge using smaller needle in brioche.

Finished Size: 30 inch (76.2cm) circumference, and 15 inches (38.1cm) tall after blocking.

Errata: 8/3/2020 (for Jimmy Beans Kits only): The final column of the chart (the white column) should be removed, and all text translations of the chart should remove the final brk or sl1yo and replace the “to the last stitch” text with “to the end”.
