This very cute pattern sports some very cute cows (Moo’s), behind their picket fence with the clouds flouting overhead. Sounds quite idyllic.

The picture for this pattern shows a ribbed roll up brim. There is the option in the pattern for a non-roll up brim.

There is a little knowledge needed for stranded/Fair Isle, mainly for getting you tension right, as we all like our beanie’s a little stretchy. The pattern does include a tip for keeping those floats a little less tight!!

For an idea this beanie fits Mat very well (and he is fussy). His head measures 22 1/2 inches, 57 cm to give you a guide. You can adjust the needle size of remove a repeat to change the size.

You will need 2 sizes of circular needles. I used 3.25mm for the brim and 3.75mm for the rest. The smaller needles for the brim stops you getting that bell shape and a sloppy brim.

The beanie pictures used 1.5 balls of purple and half a ball of linen. The balls used were 50g.

That’s about it from me. Hope you enjoy and happy knitting. If you making it for someone else, thanks for spreading the Jamo knitting love!!!!
