I Love shadow knitting. This should come with a warning, once you try you just can’t stop, its that feeling when you have finished and you lay it out, then walk past it and the image appears then disappears. You think ‘did I just do that’.

For illusion knitting you need the skills of cast on, knit, purl, cast off, yes that’s it….

The pattern fills the space so very impressive.

It will take about 1.5 balls of each colour of yarn (in 8ply) , but as always it depends on your tension. All you will basically need after that is your knitting needles, the correct size for your yarn, and maybe some very long movies….

I know that not everyone likes charts, and reading them on this scale is hard, especially when your trying to watch the TV. So I also include written instructions, which i personally find much easier to follow.
