Janaphil
Janaphil is designed to use a single skein of that special fingering weight yarn that you have been saving for just the right project. The stitch pattern is easy to memorize, yet achieves a beautiful balance of delicate detail and fashionable function.
Janaphil is from the outside edge in 2 separate pieces and then grafted together in the center.
Finished Measurements: Approximately 9-1/2” x 46” (24 cm x 117 cm)
Yarn: 390 yards of fingering yarn. Shown ! using Kismet Fiber Works Refuge (438 yd/401 m per 100 g); 50% Camel, 50% Silk.
Color: Rhubarb, 1 skein.
Gauge: 20 sts/23 rows = 4”/10 cm in pattern after blocking.
Needles: Two US#4/3.5 mm 32”/81 cm circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: 21 stitch markers, 1 in a second color to indicate beginning of round and a tapestry needle.
