Jane Blouse is a beautiful blouse with elegant puff sleeves and narrow glittery stripes.

The blouse is knitted top-down using our Handdyed Brushed Alpaca 400 (held double) and Lurex Glitter Yarn. The design features saddle shoulders and short puff sleeves.

First, the two shoulder pieces are knitted.
Then stitches are picked up along these to shoulder pieces to first knit the back and then the front. Once the armholes are shaped with increases, the work is joined, and the body is knitted in the round with narrow stripes. The body is finished with a wide ribbed edge.

Stitches are picked up at the armholes, and the sleeve cap is shaped using short rows while the puff is created with increases at the top of the sleeve. The sleeve is then knitted in the round and finished with decreases and a wide ribbed edge.

Finally, a ribbed neckline is knitted.
