Jane's Joy Starflower
I’m very excited by this pattern!
There are all the possible colour variations and ombrè effects and you can stop after round 3, round 4 or continue onto round 5 for a 3 completely different looks. So 3 flowers in one!
The PDF has full instructions, clear photos and a partial chart to explain one section. It has been pattern tested successfully.
You do not need much yarn and I used scraps.
It works well in acrylic or cotton/cottonblends.
Mine lays flat but blocking and stiffening would be great for projects where you want the flower to hang (like a Christmas ornament or bunting).
A friend suggested using the flower to create a shawl by linking them in the last row via the picots. That would be beautiful.
If you have any questions you can certainly ask :)
Enjoy,
Queen Babs
