If you like texture and sunflowers the Janine Sunflower Pocket Shawl is the make for you. The shawl portion is a simple 3 row pattern but there is plenty of texture. And if you are a sunflower lover I am sure you can’t resist those granny square pockets that get slipped stitched on at the end.

Initially this shawl was design for a bridal shower gift. Special consideration was given to the colour, motif, and embellishments. More details about that are provided in the pattern. Regardless if gifting someone or making it for yourself, you can be assure that it is a cozy wrap to put over your shoulders or on your lap when you need something a little extra to keep you warm. It is a fashionable piece that will bring a little sunshine into your wardrobe and who can resist a shawl with pockets.

Without Tassels: 25” x 76” (58 cm x 141 cm)
With Tassels: 25” x 84” (58 cm x 161 cm)

Level: Intermediate
Stitches: Sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr, popcorn, cluster, crab and granny square technique. Picture and video tutorials provided in the pattern for special stitches.
