JANNE is seamlessly knitted from the top down, with increases for the V-neck. The color changes for the back and front are worked on the sides. Back and fronts are divided and continued separately early on, with the back worked a bit longer. In the right front, a pocket is knitted in the contrasting color. The sleeve stitches are picked up from the armhole and knitted in rounds, and the sleeve cuff is worked again in the contrasting color.

MATERIAL:

Our sample is knit with: Inselschaf by Mährle, 100% wool, 180 m pr. 100 g, col. Sanddorn and Sanddorn light.

NEEDLES:

2 circular needles and DPNS (or magic loop) US8 (5,0 mm) and US7 (4,5 mm), or needle size required to obtain the given gauge.

GAUGE:

16 sts x 22 rows in stockinette stitch, on larger needles, for 4 x 4 inch (10 x 10 cm), gauge washed to obtain a realistic result.

TOOLS:
