January is to relax, sit at the fire and knit or dream for snow. Best time for skiing and winterwalk and allmost sock weather. So I knitted these socks and called them January Mood Socks.

The socks are knitted from the cuff down with a bumerang heel. I used different yarn for the leg and the feet. For the leg and fair isle pattern I used Filcolana Indiecita with alpaka, for the feet I want something stronger yarn and used Arwetta. But of course any other sock yarn can also be used.

Ich mag den Januar, wenn ich mit Strickzeug vor dem Feuer sitze, einen Becher heißen Tee neben mir und ein Hörbuch an. Die beste Zeit zum Skifahren oder für lange Winterspaziergänge und auf jeden Fall Zeit für Wollsocken. Die January Mood Socken habe ich vor dem Feuer entworfen und gestrickt.

Die Socken sind vom Bündchen zur Spitze mit einer Bumerang Ferse gestrickt. Ich habe zwei verschieden Wollarten benutzt. Für den Schaft und das Muster habe ich die kuschelige Filcolana Indiecita mit Alpaka benutzt. Für den Fuß wollte ich etwas widerstandsfähigeres und habe Arwetta verstrickt. Aber natürlich kann man auch jedes andere Sockengarn benutzen.
