It’s often hard to discern the temperature in January by simply looking out the window. It can be very deceiving – a nice warm taupe color takes over the woods, a sunny and clear bluebird sky…surely it can’t be that cold! (Spoiler alert, it is that cold.) Despite the chill, I do find the contrast between the woods and sky quite lovely and inspiring. I created this cowl with that in mind, and it’s quite warm too!

Pattern is written instruction only. Two-color rounds are stranded knitting. It knits up pretty quick with the super bulky yarn and size 15 needles.

Materials:
-US15 circular needle in 24” length
-2 contrasting colors of Plymouth Encore Mega (75/25 Acrylic/Wool): MC #577 (a woodsy looking taupe), CC #199 (sky blue)
-Stitch marker
-Yarn Needle to weave in ends

Gauge: 8 stitches per 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Finished size: 27 inches in circumference and 10.5 inches tall
