Japanese Fan
So many colors and such little time! I have always been drawn in by self striping yarns with long gradient colorways. Choosing Noro seemed to be a natural fit for this new and exciting design but Any long repeat gradient would be amazing. It would also be fun with a fade from top to bottom or even left to right. Any stacking colors would look fantastic. Maybe even throw in some texture. I can’t wait to see how creative you are with this one!
The pattern is written as a recipe so you can make it as large as you want. Each fan section is 2 1/2 inches with each strings section being 1 1/2 inches. The piece measures 20 inches from center point to outer edge as the pattern is written and shown in the pictures.
Wear it crossed in the front and center or work it over a shoulder for a different look every time.
This pattern has been tested by two and re-written. Tested by two more and edited and is still in testing with three more people. Despite initial concern, you may purchase this pattern with confidence. If you have issue making it, I am always available to assist as is your local knit shop.
