Japanese Knot Bag / Crochet Pouch
With this crochet pattern you will be able to make yourself a cute boho-style pouch. Its design follows that of a Japanese Knot Bag and it has the space for all your essentials. You can personalize this pouch by using any choice of yarn with the corresponding hook size. You can even adjust the length of the handles.
The pattern is written using US crochet terms.
This pattern includes many tutorials for the special stitches you will need as well as step-by-step photos and descriptions of each step.
The pattern was tested by a variety of crocheters with different skill levels.
For this pattern you should have basic crochet skills. This pattern does not include a beginner’s course. It does however contain pictures and written explanations of the more complicated techniques used for this project. Please read the complete pattern before starting the project.

crocheting in the back loop
crocheting in the third loop
puff stitches
When laid out flat, the bag measures 19 cm wide and 32,5 cm high.
150 g of DK weight cotton yarn (115 m/50 g) or any type of yarn you like (note that you need to estimate how much yarn you will need with another yarn type)
crochet hook 3,5 mm
darning needle to sew in the ends
