This simple, Japanese Knot Bag design fascinated me when I first spotted, and I just had to try replicate through knitting, the smooth curves and interesting knotted loop closure.
The large loop passes through the small loop to close the bag and which folds gently to give the great curves. The long strap is adjustable, make a shorter version and you can wear it on your wrist.
Practical, stylish and easy to carry with you, will soon become your favourite!

Skill Level: Beginner. Worked flat, using basic knitting skills. Please note some basic crochet stitches required for seaming.

Size: Medium Bag (31cm/12” x 31cm/12”, strap length adjustable)

Materials:

• knitting needles size 8-9mm(US11-13)
• crochet hook 6-8mm for seaming
• 430yds super bulky weight yarn. (you can use any other weight yarn but will affect the finished measurements of the bag and total yardage for the project)
