NAAAAAAAA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NANA-N’NA-NA-NA-NAAAAAA The Katamari Damacy!!!

I am a huge fan of Katamari Damacy and found it sad that there are almost no knit patterns. Even merchandise is incredibly difficult to find. So, after I knitted my own first double-knit scarf, I fell in love with the technic and immediately started making my own pixel chart on Chart Minder.

While knitting the chart, I changed small mistakes I made and only noticed after knitting. I changed some positions of small dots, items or added totally new and cute items. But the cousins (characters) are the same. So it’s not going to look 1 to 1, like in the pictures, but now it looks even cuter. <3

Pattern includes written instructions for the overall project, but the body of the scarf is all charted (no written instructions for that).

The scarf uses an invisible cast-on, invisible bind-off, and slipped edges.

I used:
2 skein Sparkle Merino Sock fingering Weight Yarn ( www.das-mondschaf.de ) in CHOCOLATE CHIP, 400m/100g (438 yards/ 15 oz), (75% Wool 20% Polyamide 5% Polyester), or a similar weight and yardage in the fiber and color of your choice

2 skein Sparkle Merino Sock fingering Weight Yarn ( www.das-mondschaf.de ) in SEVEN OF NINE, 400m/100g (438 yards/ 15 oz), (75% Wool 20% Polyamide 5% Polyester), or a similar weight and yardage in the fiber and color of your choice

If I knitted this scarf again, I would use a yarn that isn’t so twisted. It made the pattern not so clean and pretty.

Finished dimension: 80 inches (203 cm) long, 6,4 inches (16,5 centimeters) wide

Additional materials: 4 Stitch markers, tapestry needle, yarn tension ring. Extra +2 spare 2mm needles (for binding of).
