Japhiel Tunisian Art Cowl
Finally a crochet pattern made with handspun, art yarn and slub yarn and other novelty yarn in mind! Named after Jophiel, the angel of art, this crochet cowl is made with irregular and funky or artistic/handspun (or similar collection of scrap yarns). There are many tips throughout this pattern for leveraging your funky yarn best. The cowl is worked in the round, from the top down. This pattern also lends it’s self well to using up scraps and stash busting!
So often I feel that crocheters don’t get to use a lot of the cool yarns that are available, and this pattern is a simple and lovely design to best showcase fancy yarn, while minimizing waste. No fancy yarn will go unseen and valued in this design!
