jardin de la treille
The jardin de la treille (trellis garden) is located in one of my favourite parks in Paris, Parc de la Villette. The small garden has a wonderful array fo trellised plants; find inspiration in your new jardin de la treille cardigan!
This is a pattern for a buttonless cardigan. It is worked from the top down with raglan shaping. After the the body is finished, the collar is worked from the bottom up and grafted at the center back.
The body and collar are worked flat and the sleeves are worked in the round. There is no sewing, as the collar is attatched to the body as you work it.
This cardi may be worked in solid colour yarn or with gradient yarn, any variety of ways. Included, in the pattern, is a guideline ONLY for the colour progression shown in the sample knit. (a scale is helpful to weigh yarn when cutting skeins)
To use the ‘How to stripe your cardi’ guideline you need:
approx. yardage
When using Wolle’s Color Changing Yarn
100 gram colour changing- 3 skeins
50 gram solid matching outer colour - 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3)
50 gram solid matching inner colour- 0 (0, 0, 1, 2, 2, 3)
Please take a peek at project pages, as some of us needed more skeins as we added length!
