Jardin de mousse
Special Offer: 20% off regular price with coupon “Promo Jardin” until midnight November 18, 2022.
The idea for this Jardin de mousse (“moss garden”) pullover came from a friend who has cultivated just such a garden along the paths of his property in southeast New Brunswick en Acadie (Canada). The springy, textural quality of the sweater’s lace and rib patterns has a delightful “mossy” feel, reinforced by the rich tonal greens of the kettle-dyed Peruvian wool.
STYLE
This relaxed fit pullover comes to life with a nature-inspired lace pattern applied to its 7/8-length sleeves and lower body. The sweater is worked in a fine fingering 100% superwash merino wool, allowing it to be worn alone or over another layer, either indoors or outdoors depending on the time of year.
CONSTRUCTION
The Jardin de mousse raglan pullover is worked top-down and seamlessly on circular needles. The square neckband is worked in garter stitch without short-row shaping. The yoke is separated at the underarms, and the lower body and sleeves are continued separately. The lower borders are finished in a decorative rib stitch. The pattern contains a schematic for sizing, written instructions, and a chart.
