SIZE
The size and shape of the shawl are part of the mystery.
It will be large enough to warp most knitters up well.

SUGGESTED YARN
Weight: DK or Sport or Heavy fingering with the same required gauge
Composition: We chose a blend of Linen and Cotton (95% Linen / 5% Cotton : Linaé from Natissea
If you don’t want to use this yarn, I recommend a DK, sport or heavy fingering yarn containing a little of planted-based fiber or silk to achieve a certain drape.
Try to avoid any yarn containing too much halo (such as yarns containing a lot of mohair or alpaca, for example).

Meterage:
Approximately 705 m in total
MC: 570 m
CC1: 60 m
CC2, CC2, CC3; 25 m

CC1 is a color in the same colorimetric range as MC (for example, dark and light green, beige and brown).

CC2, CC3 and CC3 are three other complementary colors.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
A pair of 3.5 mm circ. needles paire d’aig. circulaires 3,5 mm if you knit with the original yarn (plant-based fibers often requires smaller needles).
If you choose an other yarn as animal-based fiber, use the appropriate needles to obtain the recommended gauge, otherwise the size of the shawl will be affected, as will the quantity of yarn required.
A 3.5 mm hook 3.5 mm
A tapestry needle

Chenille embroidery needle (for fingering weight yarn)
Solufix water-soluble embroidery stabilizer (not mandatory)

RULES & INFORMATIONS
Starting on November 27, you’ll receive this week’s clue every Monday, either on Ravelry (be sure to check your library) or by e-mail.
You’ll be able to take part in the event on Discord and/or Ravelry.
At the end of each week, a draw will take place. Prizes (all different) will be awarded on the basis of photos shared on the various Social Medias where the MKAL takes place.

SHARING ON SOCIAL MEDIAS
If you’d like to participate and share your photos on Discord, Ravelry, Instagram, etc., we ask that you share these photos in the dedicated threads for the discussion forums and use the official KAL image as the first photo on Instagram (in the case of a carousel) to prevent people participating in the KAL from seeing the clue revealed before they’ve had a chance to start knitting it.

TAILLE
La taille et la forme du châle font partie du mystère.
Ce sera un châle suffisamment grand pour couvrir les épaules de la majorité des tricoteurs et tricoteuses.

FIL SUGGERE
Epaisseur : DK ou une fingering épaisse ou sport dont l’échantillon correspond
Composition : Le choix de la laine s’est porté sur un mélange de lin et de coton, 95% lin - 5 % coton (Linaé de Natissea)
Si vous ne désirez pas utiliser ce fil, je vous conseille de vous orienter vers un fil DK ou fingering épaisse contenant un peu de fibres végétales ou de la soie pour obtenir une certaine fluidité.
Essayez d’éviter tout fil contenant trop de halo (comme des fils contenant beaucoup de mohair ou d’alpaga par exemple).

La CC1 est une couleur de la même gamme colorimétrique que la CP (par exemple, vert foncé et vert clair, beige et brun).

AIGUILLES ET MATERIEL
1 paire d’aig. circulaires 3,5 mm si vous tricotez le fil d’origine (la fibre végétale nécessite souvent des aiguilles plus petites).
Si vous choisissez un fil d’originale animale, prenez les aiguilles adéquates pour obtenir l’échantillon préconisé sinon la taille du châle sera impactée ainsi que la quantité de fil nécessaire.
1 crochet 3,5 mm, 1 aiguille à laine
Une vingtaine de marqueurs
Aiguille à broder type aiguille chenille (pour un fil grosseur fingering)
Papier broderie Solufix, Ciseaux (si nécessaire)

RÈGLES & INFORMATIONS
Vous recevrez, à partir du 27 novembre et ce chaque lundi, l’indice de la semaine soit sur Ravelry (veillez à vérifier votre bibliothèque dans ce cas), soit par email.
Vous pourrez participer à l’évèment qui se déroulera sur Discord et/ou sur Ravelry.
A la fin de chaque semaine, un tirage au sort aura lieu. Les prix (tous différents) seront attribués sur la base des photos partagées sur les différents réseaux où se déroule le MKAL.

PARTAGE SUR LES RÉSEAUX SOCIAUX
Si vous désirez participer et partager vos photos sur Discord, Ravelry, Instagram, etc., nous vous demandons de partager ces photos dans les fils dédiés pour les forums de discussion et d’utiliser l’image officielle du KAL en première photo sur Instagram (dans le cas d’un carrousel) pour éviter que les personnes qui participent au KAL ne voient l’indice dévoilé avant qu’elles n’aient eu l’occasion de commencer à le tricoter.
