This lightweight wrap will keep you warm when out and about. It also doubles nicely as a scarf. The design is inspired by someone truly special to me -- a passionate gardener, hence the name, Jardineira, the gardener. It’s modern, timeless, and elegant, just like my muse.

Construction
This wrap is worked flat in one piece, from end to end. The simplicity of the pattern makes it a relaxing, meditative knit. Along the edges, an engaging lace pattern alternates with an easy mock cable to create a graceful and delicate detail, which, coupled with a built-in i-cord edge, results in a tailored finish. The lace pattern was inspired by and adapted from a truly beautiful design by Hitomi Shida, as detailed in the “Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible,” translated by Gayle Roehm.
