This cropped cardigan is the little sister of Cardiff Bay’s Island Girl. The pattern is fun and interesting, but also very quick to memorize, making this a great project for upcoming weddings or just wearing over her favorite dress. There is one set number of stitches that applies to all of the sizes, so you will simply adjust your yarn and needles to achieve the size you want. Jasmine is worked in worsted weight cotton or cotton/acrylic blend yarn for the smallest size, and the larger sizes use chunkier organic cotton with either size 8 or 9 needles. The shaping is simple and minimal, and the beautiful flutter sleeves take care of themselves at the bind off. You will need to work one row of single crochet across the back neck. This is the perfect cardigan for flower girls, island girls, or your girl. :)
