Decorate your home with gorgeous Jasmine Stitch Crochet Christmas Trees this season! This PDF crochet pattern includes everything you need to know to make your own Crochet Christmas Ornaments!

The Jasmine Stitch texture make these decorations stand out. No one you know will have anything like these! These xmas decorations are perfect gifts for friends, mothers, aunts, daughters, grandmothers, colleagues or neighbours - everyone will love them!

The trees require very little yarn - a perfect way to put those yarn leftovers to good use!

Once you have gotten the hang of the Jasmine stitch, the Xmas trees are quick makes. You can make many - for you own tree, to sell at markets or as gifts!

The pattern includes a detailed, photo tutorial taking you through the jasmine stitches, step by step. Skill level: Intermediate+/experienced or intermediate with jasmine stitch experience. US standard terms.

Measurements
Large tree: Height approx. 10cm (3.9”) (not including the wooden bead). Width 9cm (3.5”).
Small tree: Height approx. 7.5cm (3.0”) (not including the wooden bead). Width 7cm (2.8”).

These are not exact measurements. The tree will vary greatly in size depending on yarn choice and how long you pull the loops when crocheting.

Yarn suggestions:
Large tree: I suggest using Divina from Hobbii, Kos from Sandnes garn or Air from Drops Design (Length/weight: 150meters / 50 grams (164 yards/1.8oz)). These yarn types are blown yarn and a little bit fluffy/fuzzy. This makes getting full and even-looking stitches easier. You can also use other worsted weight/10 ply yarn.

Small tree: I suggest using Metallico from Hobbii, Merino Extra Fine from Drops Design (Length/weight: 105 meter /50 grams (115 yards/1.8oz), or other DK/8 ply yarn.

Please note that you do not need to have this exact yarn type. Lots of different types of yarn work well for this project. Try out yarn you have in your stash and find your favorite! If you choose to use other yarn types than the ones suggested above, make a gauge swatch to ensure that you get the look you are going for!

You can make many trees from one skein (50 grams). You need 1 skein – or some leftovers from your stash.

Gauge: When crocheting the Jasmine Stitches, pull the loops to about 1.8cm (0.7”) if making the large tree, and to about 1.4cm (0.55”) if making the small tree. The length of the loops decides the gauge – not the hook size you are using.

Hook size: 3.5mm for the large tree and 3mm for the small tree. Use a hook significantly smaller than what you would normally use for the yarn you are using. This is to make sure the flower centers remain small.

You also need: Scissors, tape measure, yarn needle, a stitch marker, and a wooden bead.

If this is your first time working the Jasmine Stitch, making these trees will be easier (and less frustrating. And more enjoyable) if you learn the stitch back and forth first (or in the round without increases). I therefore recommend first-timers to try out one of these designs before crocheting the trees:
the Jasmine Headband (https://bit.ly/JasHeadband)
the Jasmine Cowl (https://bit.ly/JasCowl)
the Jasmine Beanie (https://bit.ly/JasBeanie)
the Jasmine Infinity Scarf (https://bit.ly/JasInfScarf)
the Jasmine Skirt (https://bit.ly/JasSkirt)
the Jasmine Purse (https://bit.ly/JasPurse)
the Jasmine Pillow (https://bit.ly/JasPillow)
the Jasmine Pacifier Clip (https://bit.ly/RavPacClip)

Experience level required: This project is meant for expert crocheters, or intermediate-level crocheters with jasmine stitch experience. Of course, adventurous crocheters at all levels are free to have go – be kind to yourself if your do ❤ This IS a rather complex project.

Using this pattern, you can make gorgeous and very special crochet Christmas Decor for yourself or someone you love ❤️ I am here to help you do just that! Please send me an e-mail if you have comments or questions!
