Jasmine Coaster
Create your own gorgeous Flower Coffee Coasters with this easy to use Crochet PDF Pattern! When you buy this Crochet Pattern, you get an English (Standard US terms) and a Norwegian version.
Note: Due to the texture of the Jasmine Stitch, these coasters are suited for wide mugs - not thin, tall glasses.
These farmhouse mug rugs are super cute for your own home or as a gift for mothers, friends, daughters, grandmothers, friends - the are perfect house warming gifts and perfect teacher appreciation gifts.
These flower coasters are a fun and quick summer project.
The Modern Coasters are crocheted using the gorgeous Jasmine Stitch. Once you have gotten the hang of these stitches, the coasters are real quick makes – a project you will find yourself making again and again. It is a great gift for housewarmings, weddings, for friends, grandmothers, mothers, daughters, teachers or co-workers
The pattern includes a detailed, step-by-step photo tutorial of how to work the Jasmine Stitches required. I will guide your through everything, from beginning to end! You do not need Jasmine Stitch experience to make this trivet. However, this is not project for beginners. Experience level required - intermediate.
If this is your first time working the Jasmine Stitch, making these coasters will be easier (and less frustrating. And more enjoyable) if you learn the stitch back and forth first (or in the round without increases). I therefore recommend first-timers to try out one of these designs before crocheting the coasters:
the Jasmine Headband (https://bit.ly/JasHeadband)
the Jasmine Cowl (https://bit.ly/JasCowl)
the Jasmine Beanie (https://bit.ly/JasBeanie)
the Jasmine Infinity Scarf (https://bit.ly/JasInfScarf)
the Jasmine Skirt (https://bit.ly/JasSkirt)
the Jasmine Purse (https://bit.ly/JasPurse)
the Jasmine Pillow (https://bit.ly/JasPillow)
the Jasmine Pacifier Clip (https://bit.ly/RavPacClip)
the Jasmine Candle Cozy (https://bit.ly/JasCandleCozy)
the Jasmine Cup Cozy (https://bit.ly/JasCupCozy)
You can use many different types of yarn for the coasters - they are perfect scrap yarn project. However, the yarn must not be too thick. This makes the coasters unstable.
Using this pattern, you can make a gorgeous and very special flower coaster for yourself or someone you love ❤️ I am here to help you do just that! Please send me an e-mail if you have comments or questions!

SUPPLIES:
You do not need much yarn for these coasters. They are great scrap busting
projects! I suggest using two strands of yarn held together; Knitting for Olive Cotton Merino, Knitting for Olive Merino, Sandnes Sunday or Filcolana Arwetta (235meters/50grams) held together with Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair, Rauma Plum or Sandnes Tynn Silk Mohair (212m/25grams). Alternatively, you can crochet using any other 4ply/Sport yarn held together with any Mohair Lace/2ply yarn. The thinner mohair thread creates a bit of fluff. This is not necessary but gives a gorgeous effect. It also makes it easier to achieve an even looking work
and helps fill nicely between the loops. You need one skein (or some left overs from your stash) of each type.
However, note that a lot of different types of yarn can work for these coasters! Feel free to experiment with other yarns - and find your favorite. Keep in mind that thick yarn will make bulky coasters where your glasses/mugs will not be stable.
Suggested hook size: 3mm.
You also need scissors and yarn needle.
