Jasmine Easter Egg
Crochet your own gorgeous Jasmine Stitch Crochet Easter Egg using this Easter Decoration PDF Crochet Pattern!
English (US standard terms) and Norwegian PDF pattern included in each purchase.
These Easter Crochet Eggs are great Easter Decorations. The Jasmine Stitch texture make them stand out, and they are also a perfect gift. No one you know will have anything like these.
Once you have gotten the hang of the Jasmine stitch, the eggs are quick makes! The pattern includes a detailed, step-by-step photo tutorial taking you through the jasmine stitches required for the egg, step by step.
Experience level required: This project is meant for expert crocheters, or intermediate-level crocheters with jasmine stitch experience. Of course, adventurous crocheters at all levels are free to have go – be kind to yourself if your do ❤ This IS a rather complex project.
If this is your first time working the Jasmine Stitch, making these eggs will be easier (and less frustrating. And more enjoyable) if you learn the stitch back and forth first (or in the round without increases). I therefore recommend first-timers to try out one of these designs before crocheting the eggs:
the Jasmine Headband (https://bit.ly/JasHeadband)
the Jasmine Cowl (https://bit.ly/JasCowl)
the Jasmine Beanie (https://bit.ly/JasBeanie)
the Jasmine Infinity Scarf (https://bit.ly/JasInfScarf)
the Jasmine Skirt (https://bit.ly/JasSkirt)
the Jasmine Purse (https://bit.ly/JasPurse)
the Jasmine Pillow (https://bit.ly/JasPillow)
the Jasmine Pacifier Clip (https://bit.ly/RavPacClip)
the Jasmine Candle Cozy (https://bit.ly/JasCandleCozy)
the Jasmine Cup Cozy (https://bit.ly/JasCupCozy)
The Eggs have diameter of approx. 6-7cm (2.4-2.8 inches), and height approx. 8-9cm (3.1-3.9 inches). The egg can be made smaller or bigger, by using different yarn or pulling the loops longer or shorter when working the Jasmine Stitch.
This is a great scrap busting project! You can pretty much use any yarn you like, if it is not very thin. I suggest blow yarn such as or Drops Air/Sandnes Kos (150 m/50 gram), DSA Pus (100 m/50 gram) or Rauma Puno (110m/50 grams). You can also use other 10 ply/Aran /Worsted yarn. You need less than 50 grams.
Using this pattern, you can make gorgeous and very special crochet easter eggs for yourself or someone you love ❤️ I am here to help you do just that! Please send me an e-mail if you have comments or questions!
I also love seeing your makes! Please tag photos on Instagram/social media using the hashtags #jasmineeastereggs #nordicyarnart or @nordicyarnart
