Stashbusting is not mutually exclusive from elegance. With their feminine shape and delicate Bavarian-stitch cabling, these Jasmine Slippers will make you feel like a princess.

Unlike most footwear, the instep is worked as a cabled strip with rolled edges and a tapered end. The bottom edge of the strip is then overlapped by the tapered end and joined, after which the surprisingly-durable sole is worked in the round using two strands of yarn. Short rows shape the foot, and elastic threaded along the instep edge guarantees a snug fit. Pattern is charted.
