These Jasmine Star Stitch Coasters and Trivet, is a quick little project, for your home.  I love trivets and pretty crochet things to set my coffee cups on. This is a set of crochet coasters, and a large trivet using the Jasmine Star Stitch, and Peaches & Cream or any Kitchen Cotton Yarn.

The larger hook and kitchen cotton yarn makes for a dense, and even fabric, which I thought was perfect for coasters. The trivet is just an oversized coaster, great to use as a hot pad or as small place mat, you know for a spoon and such.

The Jasmine Star crochet stitch is a fun challenge, with outstanding results, and this pattern set is a perfect way to practice!  The coaster and large trivet feature the jasmine stitch worked in increasing rounds. The stitch may be considered Intermediate skill, but it’s really just a series of puff stitches.
