Javos Cup Sleeve
It is only after years of making my own clothes, accessories and household items that I have come to appreciate my family’s legacy of crochet. My mother crochets regularly for her own enjoyment. She is a true gift-crocheter, often making crochet shawls and blankets for family members. Her mother, my Grandma J was always crocheting. She made granny square blankets, chevron blankets, baby clothes and crocheted decorations for every holiday. This pattern is named after my Grandma Javos.
Pattern Information: This pattern is a quick crochet so it is a great way to give granny squares a try. It is also the perfect stash busting project so experiment with yarn combinations and enjoy the process. This creates a large, 9”/23 cm circumference cup sleeve. If you would like something smaller use DK/Sport weight yarn and a smaller hook.
