Very on-trend, this throw-over shoulder wrap is a must have for any season. Can be dressed up or down for day-time romps or night-time shenanigans. JAZZ uses the fun ‘wrap & turn’ technique which allows one part of a garment to grow while the other part stays the same size. A very simple feminine and statement design.

The shawl is knitted lengthwise, using short rows to shape the triangles. You can either go wild and work the triangles in random colours or be very precise and logical and knit the colours sections in sequence, or of course you could work the whole shawl in one colour. Any which way you choose your JAZZ will look stunning.

YOU WILL NEED:
Worked in 3 contrast colours:
2 x 100g WARM MOONSHINE (1 x undyed and 1 x natural grey), 400m/100g, 70% alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere and 1 x 100g WARM COBBLESTONE, 311m/100g, 60% superwash merino, 20% silk, 20% yak
4mm circular needle (80cm, worked forwards and backwards)

GAUGE: 20sts to 10cm over stocking st on 4mm needle

FINISHED SIZE (when washed and hung up to dry): width at deepest point 53cm, length 380cm

ABBREVIATIONS:
k: knit | p: purl | st(s): stitch(es) | R: row
pm/slm: place marker/slip marker
k2tog: k 2sts together to make one st (decrease)
yo: yarn over, starting at front of work pass yarn over needle to back. When you reach a yo on next row, k as directed. This should create a hole.
Cast-on sts for loops: twist working yarn into loop and slip onto right needle. When working these loops do not worry that they are ‘loose and loopy’, they will tighten-up on subsequent rnds.

Wrap & Turn (w&t):
• k to st to be wrapped
• pull working yarn forward between needles
• slip st from left needle to right
• pull working yarn back between needles
• slip st from right needle to left
• turn work
• pull working yarn back between needles to be in position to continue knitting
