Jazzie top and skirt
This is a top and skirt set for a 8” X 5” doll. The skirt is very easy and takes about 1-2 hours to do (depending on interruptions). The top is a little more difficult, but still easily knitted within 2 hours. It is a great way to use up your stash yarn.
Note: The yarn I used was from my stash and so the amount of yarn indicated to knit this project is only an estimate.
Difficulty level: intermediate
Skills: Top - knit, purl, k2tog and p2tog decreases, cast on and bind off, use of either dpns or magic loop method.
Skirt: knit, purl, use of circular needle and join in the round, use of either dpns or magic loop method, increase with M1L, cast on and bind off.
Top
This is knit from the bottom up and back and forth. The opening is in the front and secured with a sew on snap.
Skirt- the skirt is knit from the top down and in the round using the magic loop method. You can also use dpns.
