Jazzy Cables Cowl
This cowl introduces a new way of doing reversible cables. More of a twist than a true cable, it creates a totally reversible fabric. The pattern is worked flat and uses a provisional cast on so that the knitter can decide to shorten or lengthen the cowl as desired. My finished sample measured 42” by 8” before seaming and used approximately 300 yards of Springvale worsted. Changing the yarn or length will of course change the required yardage.
The pattern is both written out and charted. A provisional cast on was used so that the ends can be grafted together seamlessly with Kitchener stitch, but you could also finish with 3 needle bind off if you prefer. Options are given for a circular or twisted (moebius) join.
This pattern will be free through midnight, Easter Sunday.
Happy Easter!
