The Jazzy Jumper and hat are seam-free, knitted from the bottom up in rounds in DK wool for ages 6 months to 10 years. The colour work is surprisingly simple. Yarns never spanning more than 3 stitches so no there are no floats to carry, there are a minimum of ends to sew in as yarns can be carried upwards, and 4 out of every 10 rounds are single colour. I designed the jumper and hat in order to use up some of my odd balls of wool left over from other projects and the pattern tells you how to do the same. You will need 2-3 x 50g of a main colour and 25 - 75 g of 6 further colours. I broke the rules and mixed brands. As long as you use yarns of the same gauge you can get away with it! This pattern is ideal if you want to put your own stamp on something as it lends itself to your own colour variations. Or you could choose similar colours to create this version.
