Je ne sais quoi cardigan
Je ne sais quoi ~ A pleasing quality that cannot be exactly named or described. Honestly though, it was the first word to come to my head when thinking up a name and I went with it :D
This cardigan is perfect for Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter! Provided on the yarn you use of course.
A very cottage core vibe comes with this puffy liitle cardigan.
It features a crochet body and cuffs, with the choice of the maker to either knit or crochet the sleeves, both look beautiful :)
Cotton is recommended to keep it sturdy, but there is a beautiful version using animal fibres (see tester catalogue) and it worked perfectly and looks so cosy!
It is customizable in many ways, you may make longer sleeves, no sleeves, longer cuffs for a very cutesy look, a longer crop, use ribbons or crochet chains for ties, or use buttons to close, do as you wish, get creative! :)
All my testers really loved the way it looks and said it fits them perfectly.
The pattern contains high quality photos, well written instructions.
My patterns are size inclusive, they are to fit Women of all shapes and sizes because 1 size does not fit most! My patterns are written in a way where the crocheter must measure themselves or the person intended for, this is to ensue the most perfect fitting top for YOUR body, because of this, gauge is irrelevant so please ignore the gauge in the listing.
The pattern has been tested by many women before publishing.
The skill level is intermediate, beginners will get away with being able to make this as well!
When I’m learning a new stitch I find Youtube is the best source.
It is written in US terms, some spelling is according to Australian spelling.
If crocheting the whole cardigan, you will need a 4mm, 7mm and 9/10mm hook & yarn weight Dk or aran (but goodness me mohair sleeves would look gorgeous!)
If crocheting body and knitting sleeves, you will need a 4mm hook, 7mm circular needles (40cm & 100cm) & yarn weight Dk or aran
