The Jella cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece with no seams. The sleeves are incorporated into the upper body, using the “simultaneous set-in-sleeve“-method, developed by Barbara Walker. The sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round. The Jella cardigan is primarily worked in Stockinette Stitch. The eye-catcher is the large colorful hem, worked in a slip stitch pattern. A different slip stitch pattern is used for the cuffs and for a small stripe at the upper back. The cardigan has a slight A-Line shaping. The pattern contains instructions for two different lengths: a standard length (40 cm/15.75” lower side length) and a tall length (45 cm/17.75” lower side length).

Die Jella Jacke wird von oben nach unten (top-down) in einem Stück ohne Nähte gestrickt. Dabei werden die Ärmel nach der von Barbara Walker entwickelten „simultaneous set-in-sleeve“-Methode mitgestrickt und anschließend in Runden fertiggestellt. Gestrickt wird hauptsächlich glatt rechts. Der Hingucker ist das bunte, breite Bündchen in einem Hebemaschenmuster. Hinten am oberen Rücken wird zur weiteren Auflockerung zudem ein bunter Streifen in einem anderen Hebemaschenmuster gestrickt. Dasselbe Hebemaschenmuster wird auch für die Ärmelbündchen verwendet. Die Jacke hat eine leichte A-Linie. Die Anleitung beinhaltet zwei Längenvarianten für die Jacke (normale Länge: 40 cm untere Jackenlänge, lange Länge: 45 cm untere Jackenlänge).
