Jellybean Bird and Gift Egg Toys
Make a whole flock of little birds and eggs in all colors. This cute little bird is ready to welcome spring! He works up very quickly and is great for Easter baskets and spring decor and anytime. These would also make lovely handmade party favors especially for a bird-themed party. Why not gift someone with a gift-filled egg pocket? The gift egg is a good way to become familiar with crocheting in the round if you haven’t before and works up in very little time.
You can place candy, tiny trinkets, money and even a gift card into this cute little hollow egg! And they are Eco-friendly because they can be used again. Maybe an egg cozy too? Just leave the hole wide enough for your egg to fit. Try with a plastic egg. It is a perfect home for money, even a small doll or favorite action figure. It can become a pocket within a pocket. Add it as the golden prize of your Easter egg hunt!
Leave off the wings for playtime jellybeans!
Difficulty: Beginner
These soft crocheted pets will fit in the palm of your hand, are very soft to hold and are perfect gifts for any child over three. This would be a cute little gift for a bird lover. These adorable jellybean-shaped birds make perfect additions to spring decor. They like to flock together and with their heart noses will become a quick favorite. Several would make a cute baby mobile for a nursery.
They are about three inches tall. Shown in blue mint yarn color; they are made of soft acrylic yarn, 9mm black safety eyes and heart craft bead noses.
These tiny cuties can be made with or without wings.
