What’s your favourite jelly bean colour or flavour? 

Jellybean Shorties are sweet little treats for your feet! Bright pops of colour on the cuff, worked in simple stranded colourwork, look like little jelly beans.

The pattern is written for the magic loop method – if you haven’t tried this style of knitting in the round before, this pattern is a great introduction!

SIZE:
1 (2, 3, 4)
Circumference
6 (7, 8, 9)” | 15 (17.5, 20, 22.5) cm
To fit foot circumference
7 (8, 9, 10)” | 17.5 (20, 22.5, 25) cm
Outer cuff circumference
7 (8, 9, 10)” | 17.5 (20, 22.5, 25) cm*
Optional larger outer cuff circumference
8 (9, 10, 11)” | 20 (22.5, 25, 27.5) cm

MATERIALS:
--Fingering weight yarn, approx. 65-95g (approx. 55-85g of MC, plus 2-4g each of four CC)
--US #1 | 2.25 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge
--Stitch marker
--Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

GAUGE | TENSION:
36 sts + 46 rounds = 4” | 10 cm on US 1 | 2.25mm needles in stockinette stitch worked in the round
Finished size can vary according to personal gauge

SKILLS NEEDED:
Techniques include knit, purl, increases and decreases, working in the round, stranded colourwork, binding off
