Jellyfish
Not only are these little jellyfishes cute for kids of all ages (or even
adults), studies have shown that they are a great source of comfort
for babies, as the tentacles mimic the feeling of an ambilocal cord.
I have used this pattern to make many jellyfishes for my own two
kids, and have found them to be a fantastic gift for my friends and
family. Whatever reason you have decided to buy this, I hope that
your little creation will bring smiles to the people that you love.
Materials:
YARN:
50g Cotton DK (137yds / 125m) Make sure you to get these colors for the detailing of the eyes and checks in the same yarn (pink, white and black).
STUFFING:
100% organic cotton stuffing (babies love to
suck the jellyfish, so this is recommended)
HOOK:
3mm crochet hook (US Size D is also fine)
MISC ITEMS:
Tapestry needle, scissors and stitch markers
Size: 5.5cm x 24cm
Gauge - 14SC = 2”
Skill Level - Easy
Important Notes: Use a stich marker to keep track of your rounds. The
smaller the hock the tighter the stitches will be together, which
insures no fibers will be coming out.
