Jellyfish Cardigan
The jellyfish cardigan is a light cardigan with a v-neck, balloon sleeves, a collar, frill details, and a tie-front. The name comes from the sleeve cuffs, which look like jellyfish frills when you hold your arm up. XD
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A PDF FILE ONLY, NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT.
Other notes:
- Language: English
- Terminology: US
- Level of difficulty: intermediate and up. Confident beginners may try out this pattern, but I highly recommend starting with easier crochet projects via YT. :)
- Skills: basic crochet STS (SLST, SC, DC, etc), some sewing/assembly & ribbing.
- This is a made-to-measure pattern meaning that exact ST counts will not be given & you have to know how to measure yourself (a helpful YT vid is linked).
Materials:
- Recommended yarn weight: size 2/5-ply/sport weight yarn. For reference, I used Hobbii Rainbow Bamboo in colors 02 (white) & 40 (green). I used approx. 400g/1000m of green (Color A) & 85g/212.5m of white (Color B) for a size 36” bust, 16” length, 20” sleeve length cardigan.
- Recommended hook size: 3mm crochet hook (or any hook that meets the gauge with your tension)
- Tape measure
- Scissors & yarn needle
- Stitch markers

Using mine or my testers’ photos is prohibited.

- I would love to share your work on my page as it brings me insurmountable joy that someone has made a cardigan using this pattern. ♡
- It is only fair that credit goes where credit is due. This is not gatekeeping. It is respecting and recognizing the work a creative has put into creating a pattern. Because you have bought this pattern does not make it yours nor does it mean you should treat the design as if it is yours.
Lastly, I’d like to extend thanks to my testers Katherine (@katbyhand), Nicole (@lalumierenatinale), Fren (@furenchuu.crochet), Feby (@howls__girl), Darby (@darbydene_crochet), Amber McGihon (@amberkmcgihon), Julia (@the.silverknot), Hayley (@softlymadecottage), Michelle (@adorablystressed), Anastasia Gracia (@__terasrumah), Kai (@kairu_sureddo), Iris (@_iris.golden_), Haera (@lavhandaisy.co), Makenna (@myhookingaddiction), Liv (@livalmamaria), & Joy (@joyfully__crafted__) ♡
Again, no refunds will be issued if you buy this listing thinking that it is a physical product. Please read the description in full; thank you. <3
