PATTERN INFORMATION

SKILLS NEEDED

• The skill level needed is beginner.
• The techniques you will need to know include: chain, single crochet, standing single crochet, slip stitch, increase, invisible decrease, working in the back bar of the ch, double crochet, working in the front and back loop only, and the adjustable (magic) ring.
• Hand embroidery is also used in this project.

MATERIALS NEEDED (specifics are noted within the pattern)

• yarn in your choice of colors (about 50 yds/46 m of worsted/aran),
• a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle
• stuffing
• scissors
• chopstick to help stuff
• safety eyes
• embroidery floss and needle
• keychain (optional)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

• Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) the Jellyfish Keychain measures approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall.
• The miniature Jellyfish in the images is made using the same pattern, Size 10 crochet thread, and a 1.50 mm hook. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).
