Jellyfish planter & toy
I created this jellyfish planter for my 3-year-old daughter to hang in her animal-themed bedroom, and also included instructions to turn it into a cuddly stuffed toy. You get two patterns in one! It’s easy enough for a beginner to crochet, as long as you know how to crochet in the round using a magic ring.
The jellyfish is made up of several parts crocheted individually, then stitched together. The planter accommodates a 4” pot. You only need two to three 3.5-oz skeins of yarn to make this (or you could do some stash busting if you wanted to make it really colorful!). You will also need thin, flexible cardboard (such as a bakery box) if you’re making the hanging planter.
This is my first original pattern--I hope you love it as much as my daughter does!
