A stranded knit cowl plays with bold contrasting colors to create a modern graphic cowl. This cold weather accessory will brighten your cold days. I hope this knit is an invitation to experiment with colors that speak to you. Purchase your yarn or go on a stash dive.

While knitting in the round you will create one long tube that i s seamed together in one of two finishing options, moeibus or non-moeibus . This method creates a double layer ensuring an extra cozy cowl for your cold weather days.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

Circumference: 33 inches/83.8cm
Depth: 9 inches/22.9cm

YARN

I used 8 colors of worsted weight yarn from Brooklyn Tweed. I only used about 40 yards per skein, so this would be a great project for a stash dive, or you could use fewer colors. I want you to have freedom in your color choices and yarn choice! Important note: I do enjoy the structure that Brooklyn Tweeds yarn offered in this cowl. Different yarns may impact the cowl’s structure, making it more or less slouchy. Something to keep in mind when determining your yarn choice.
