A Tunisian Crochet Winter Hat
Need a fun challenge with an incredible outcome in your Tunisian crochet crafting? Then this will be your go-to for months! Not only does it make a warm and fit winter hat, but it provides amazing protection against the wind and the cold! It looks cool, is unapologetically functional, and will be your favorite hat to make and wear, all season long!
This download has two options - one with the pattern only, and a second with some pictures to help show how the hat is joined together. The name difference is in the download file name!

Notes:
➔ The hat is not blocked, so all measurements are done to finished size.
➔ The way this hat is worked makes the fabric stiffer than what is bought in stores. It is not as flexible as knit or standard crochet hats – please keep this in mind when choosing which size to work with.
➔ The stiffer fabric is ideal in chilly, windy climates!
➔ For an easier double-ended Tunisian hook, I used two Addi cable hooks and attached them on either end of the cable. Although, any changeable cabled crochet hook will work.
➔ If you do not want to purchase two hooks of the same size but want the cable option, you can use a size smaller for the return hook. Solid double ended hooks work too, but you’ll want a shorter length so it doesn’t get heavy to work.
➔ If unfamiliar with the Tunisian Reverse Stitch, please see https://crochetkim.com/crochetkim-video-tunisian-reverse-...
➔ This technique requires knowledge of Tunisian crochet in the round. It is worked continuously as a spiral cylinder.
