Jennifer is getting married . Jennifer has been a light in my life since I first met her. She was a tiny little thing at the time. I was a joy to watch her grow through the years. She is a talented artist who appreciates creative endeavors. Here’s a bouquet of roses for you my dear.

The Jennifer Rose begins with a simple lace design of flowers and eyelets. The pattern for the main field of the shawl is easy to memorize and is meditative in nature. You repeat this lace pattern for the majority of the project. A border of roses completes the shawl.

Special Techniques:
Knit & purl, cast on & I-Cord bind off
Increases: yarn over, knit front and back
Simple lace: yarn over, knit 2 together, ssk (slip, slip, knit), center double decrease
Working flat on circular needles
