Jenny's Faith
Wide triangular lace shawl worked in two parts. Body of shawl is worked from apex to neck edge. Diamond Panel and lace edging are worked in rows down each side of shawl from corner to corner.
Though light fingering/sock is suggested, ANY weight yarn can be used. This shawl has not yet been worked up in any other yarn weight however, so yardage and size for other weights have not yet been determined.
This shawl has NOT been tested by anyone other than myself. However, I am going to release the pattern in segments. It is being offered for free due to life’s circumstances right now preventing me from being able to work with testers formally. The pattern is fairly intuitive, and my best effort has been put forth in putting up a pattern that you can follow and enjoy.
At this time, I would not recommend this pattern for an absolute beginner. I am not a professional designer, and cannot guarantee that the format I use is beginner “friendly”. This is not a difficult pattern by any means; this is only a reflection of my skills as a pattern writer.
Dates of Release:
Shawl Body (Part 1) October 1
Diamond Panel (Part 2) October 10
Lace Edging (Part 3) Oct 26
Thank you so much!!!! :)
There is a typo on Row 1 of pattern. Where it says “fan”, it should say “shell”. :)
UPDATE Part 3 will be available on SUNDAY OCT 26…RAIN OR SHINE! Thank you for your patience!
