UPDATE APRIL 2025. I have now started charging for this pattern, but all sales will be donated to Every Life Matters, a suicide prevention charity here in the Lake District. I am doing this because my beautiful daughter Jenny, who inspired this design, died by suicide a year ago. She would have been 25 this month and I miss her terribly.

UPDATE JUNE 24 2010 (Joyeux St Jean Baptiste!) My lovely Test Knitters have finished with this pattern and I have updated it significantly. Please make sure that you download the new version!

UPDATE MAY 2010 - I have updated the pattern to include directions for a size LARGE and have issued this pattern for test knitting in the Free Pattern Testers Forum. Once the test knit is completed, I will re-issue the pattern.

Cuff-down stranded knitting sock designed originally for the SKA SOCKDOWN! December 2009 event. The challenge was to knit socks using leftovers, and this was the perfect answer. The sizing of this sock turned out quite small (Eur 35 or so), but I attribute that to my very tight tension when I do colourwork.

This is my first design attempt so any comments/corrections are more than welcome!
