This design was inspired by the March blooming Jessamine flowers on the wild growing shrubs around my Austin, TX neighborhood. This shawlette (or scarf depending on the yarn weight you pick) is really just a series of edgings bordering around a modified filet mesh. It is fun to make and is easily modifiable to be made wider or longer! The Blue Heron Rayon gives it a dressy and drapey feel and would look great thrown over a summer tank or t-shir. Done on a finer variegated wool makes for a fun scarf size that would keep the chill off your neck but give a pop of something floral!
