This is a reversible ribbed hat with a very loose cast-on edge and a circular crown.

This hat is meant for Jesse Fitgerald, from the movie and book “My Sister’s Keeper” by Jodi Picoult. He needed some comfort as he roamed the rainy streets forgotten and grieving for his sisters. And he sure did not need to worry about whether his hat was on right!
